Clutter Free Easter Basket Ideas

I love putting together Easter baskets, and it's so easy to get swept up in the adorable little toys in the seasonal section. If you're not careful though, a bunch of tiny little things add up to more clutter in your home. And let's face it, your kids lose interest pretty quickly. This year I'm trying to be mindful of the clutter and fill my kid's baskets with clutter free items.

But Tina, it's still more stuff, so how is it clutter free? Glad you asked! When I say clutter free, I mean the items serve multiple purposes or are consumable (meaning you use them up). Here are some ideas I've come up with for my 4 yr old daughter, who you may have figured is REALLY into rainbows.

  1. This playsilk is a wonderful open ended toy, it can be a cape, a doll blanket, a fort get it. And you can also use it in place of fake grass in your basket!

  2. Mask, because let's face it, they aren't going away for a long time.

  3. This sensory toy is a great little item to keep in your purse or the car to keep little hands busy.

  4. How adorable is this dollhouse activity book? And once it's used up, it goes right in the recycle bin!

  5. Easter egg sidewalk chalk because of course!

  6. These pastel markers are so pretty.

  7. Kids love learning how to grow plants, how sweet is this flower growing kit?

  8. Consider using a basket that will double as room decor like this pom-pom basket

  9. So looking forward to using this sunprint kit with my daughter!

Some other clutter free ideas are coloring books, stickers, and art supplies. Would love to hear your ideas as well!
